Julma Henrin vuosi huipentuu koko Suomen läpi kiertävään P O L A R I S LIVE 2026 -kiertueeseen. G Livelabin keikan avaa legendaarinen Steen1! Tämän kiertueen jälkeen Julma Henri vetäytyy keikkalavoilta määrittelemättömäksi ajaksi.
Keväällä julkaistu P O L A R I S on aikamatka pohjoiseen, nousukaudesta laman jälkeiseen Suomeen ja siitä tähän päivään. Teoksessa henkilökohtainen muisti limittyy sukupolvikokemukseen. Keskiössä ovat mieheksi kasvaminen, omaan historiaan astuminen ja aiemmin tiedostamattoman liittäminen osaksi omaa tarinaa.
Vuonna 2007 Al Qaida Finland albumilla laajempaan tietoisuuteen noussut Julma Henri on rakentanut yli kaksikymmentä vuotta omaa, valtavirrasta riippumatonta maailmaansa suomalaisen underground rapin ytimessä. P O L A R I S LIVE tuo yli kaksikymmentävuotisen uran yhteen uuden albumin maailman kanssa.

Julma Henri’s year culminates in the P O L A R I S LIVE 2026 tour, which will take him across Finland. The G Livelab show will be opened by legendary Finnish rapper Steen1. After this tour, Julma Henri will step away from live performances for an indefinite period.
Released in the spring, P O L A R I S is a journey back in time to the north — from Finland’s years of economic boom to the recession that followed, and from there to the present day. The work intertwines personal memory with a generational experience. At its heart are coming of age as a man, stepping into one’s own history, and incorporating previously unconscious aspects of oneself into one’s personal story.
Julma Henri first rose to wider public attention in 2007 with the album Al Qaida Finland. For more than twenty years, he has built his own independent world at the heart of Finland’s underground rap scene, outside the mainstream. P O L A R I S LIVE brings together his more than two-decade career with the world of his new album.
