Alttosaksofonisti ja säveltäjä Darius Jones on uuden jazzmusiikin ydintekijä, jonka musiikin pyörre aaltoilee kauas Brooklynistä, jossa mies asuu. Jonesin tuorein levy fLuXkit Vancouver (its suite but sacred) on We Jazzin ja yhdysvaltalaisen Northern Spyn yhteisjulkaisu, joka heijastelee Jonesin kokonaisvaltaista musiikillista otetta. Nyt lavalle astuu uusista ideoista innostuvan Jonesin tuore kokoonpano, yhdessä We Jazz -festivaalin kanssa kuratoitu Helsinki Accord. Mukana ovat AINON-yhtyeestä tutut sellisti Aino Juutilainen ja rumpali Joonas Leppänen (Alder Ego), sekä Berliinistä saapuva yhdysvaltalaisbasisti Nick Dunston. Luvassa on ainutlaatuista uutta musiikkia.
Ennen illan We Jazz -keikkoja Suomen johtava IPA-panimo Fat Lizard Brewing Co. järjestää G Livelabissa maistuvan ja informatiivisen olutmaistelun. Tasting-tuokiossa tutustutaan asiantuntijan opastuksella erilaisiin oluttyyleihin sekä Espoon ensimmäisen panimon historiaan ja toimintaan. Tasting alkaa kello 17:15.

Now, Jones takes the stage with a never-before-heard formation entitled Helsinki Accord, bringing together local musicians Aino Juutilainen on cello and Joonas Leppänen on drums (both from AINON), plus Berlin-based bassist Nick Dunston. Expect music yet unheard.
